PROFILE
ABOUT
JENKS
Jenks makes drum & bass with a sense of enjoyment at its core. His sound brings the movement and swing of rollers together with the lift and impact of jump-up, leaving room for both an easy groove and a big rave moment. It is an approach that carries across his releases and DJ sets: music with personality, made for people to connect with on a dancefloor.
The Bristol-based producer's journey began through making music with childhood friend ACP. Early experiments in house and rap beats developed into drum & bass during lockdown, with SoundCloud providing an outlet as the pair found their feet. That shared background remains part of the project today, running through their collaborative records and the way their musical paths continue to cross.
Hennessy, released by DnB Allstars in 2024, became a key record in his wider breakthrough. His catalogue has since reached across Born On Road, Elevate, Jungle Cakes, Low Down Deep and Serial Killaz. Those labels connect different parts of his sound, from rolling, rave-rooted D&B to the more direct energy of jump-up, and help explain the range of audiences his music can reach.
In 2026, All In Good Time on BoujeeBass TV gave his solo work a full EP setting. Lost In The Sound with Oram and Limmz, the Jenks and Dr Meaker remix of Suv and Dynamite MC's The Melody, and the Steppa EP with ACP show how collaboration continues to shape the catalogue. Alongside the records, appearances at Boomtown, DnB Allstars Festival and Nozstock have taken the project into major festival settings. Through that progression, the central appeal stays the same: good vibes, a strong groove and records with the impact to turn a set into a moment.
