ACP

ACP's sound draws from several corners of bass music. Jump-up, more minimal D&B and a longstanding love of riddim dubstep all feed into his work, giving the Bristol-based DJ and producer room to move between playful ideas, darker bass pressure and outright rave energy. The variety is part of the appeal: different directions connected by a recognisable personality.

His production journey started at 12, experimenting in Logic before making house tracks and rap beats with childhood friend Jenks. Drum & bass became their shared focus during lockdown, with early uploads developing into a much more serious pursuit. That history gives their continuing collaborations a personal foundation, built on years of making music together.

Dreaming on BoujeeBass TV and Jumpscare on Souped Up helped bring ACP to a wider D&B audience. In his UKF interview, he described sending Jumpscare to Serum and seeing the idea become a Souped Up release. It was a meaningful connection for a producer who had grown up with the label's artwork on the wall, and a fitting home for the more unusual side of his production.

The catalogue has continued to open out. Soulja with Magenta on Low Down Deep and Make Noise Cru with Nick The Lot on Pick The Lock place him alongside established figures in UK jump-up. ROTATION on BoujeeBass TV and ON : SIGHT on ACP Music add further solo-led projects, while Drive-By and the 2026 Steppa EP continue the musical partnership with Jenks. Across those releases, ACP's range remains central to the project: an artist bringing different influences into the room and allowing his own character to hold them together.
